It was hot and sticky again here today, so I decided to go for one of my post-work swims. Went to Horgen this time, which is a lot nearer than the place I went to last time. It was lovely. I had a dip and then just lay on my towel on the grassy verge while I dried off.
There were some people doing SCUBA diving nearby and they came from a local shop which does training etc. I think I might see if they will still recognise my diving qualifications from 20 years ago and take me for an accompanied dive sometime. The lake is supposed to be full of fish and interesting things to see, and they say the visibility is very good, so the water is quite clean. Would be fun to do a bit of that again after all these years. Nice that I have the time to think about this at the moment. I think I would be a fair weather diver – no icebreaking for me!
Note to Annette…. any chance you might be able to fit my wetsuit in your luggage when you come please?
