Today was the day of my first dive in open water for 20 years. I was a bit nervous, but Dave was with me and he is a great teacher – a real calming influence. I am so glad I found him.
We went to a site called Riff Williams on the East side of Lake Zurich. Didn’t see any fish, but it was nice to get back in the water. We went down to about 24m (78 feet).
The lake was very calm, which is good, and the weather was dry, but not too hot. All in all a perfect day for diving.
