Early start for the wedding. TomTom got us to the place with no bother, but still no sign of Glenda! Wedding started about 15 mins late, but Glenda never showed up. We found out later that they had been taken to the WRONG botanical gardens and spent the morning wandering round there. Wedding was lovely and afterwards we walked through the gardens to the café where we had a nice buffet brunch. John was best man and did a good job of it. After the wedding we made our way to see Gwen McMinn on Bribie island. She is the old lady who knew Annette’s Mum when they were at school together in Gladstone. She had a lovely home and was very welcoming. We had a nice visit. Ben enjoyed her little dog. After that we drove to Pelican Waters (near Caloundra) where I had booked us into the Crowne Plaza hotel for two nights. In the evening, we had Chinese take away.
