Another early wake up! Didn’t have to check out of the hotel until 12 noon, so had breakfast room service in the room and finished packing. At 12, we got a taxi to the Airport Express train terminal where you can check in your luggage.  Taxi driver told us he had spent 20 years in Southampton! Small World! We wandered round the shops and had some coffee in Starbucks. I found a new Artemis Fowl book for Ben at a very good price ($76) When we had exhausted this centre, we caught the train to the airport and wandered round the shops and restaurants there! When these were exhausted, we went through to the departures area and found comfy seats. We took turns to wander and play games on the DS Lites. A very long, slow, boring day. Our flight is at 11:15pm.
