Woke 7. Coach from hotel to Port Douglas for Wavedancer cruise to Low Isle. Snorkling. Lycra suits. Yummy buffet lunch. I found some fish on my plate and assumed I had accidentally put it on when I was serving Ben’s plate. However, the marine Biologist (John) had just finished telling everyone that the sea birds often drop food over the boat!…..Feeding prawn heads and tails to big fish off boat. Nature walk. Cruise on glass bottomed boat over coral. Saw turtles, fish, clams, coral. Fantastic day! Cruise back to Port Douglas. Guy called Drew sang some songs. Quite good but decided not to buy the CD! Coach trip back to Cairns – about 70 mins, I think. Note to say Alison phoned. Rang her back. Had a good natter. Walked into town for food and to buy Ben a new rucksack. Also needs another new watch! His died in water. Didn’t find one. Bought Pot Noodles and cakes and drinks from Woolworths. Ate in hotel room. Booked taxi for 7am tomorrow and checked out tonight.
