Rockhampton 1

Drove up to Rockhampton and checked into another cabin, not a Big 4 this time. Decided to stay here two nights. Walked to the Capricorn tourist information centre and did some pictures either side of the line. “Cold” one side and “hot” the other! I’m sure we are not the first tourists to do this! The lady in the centre asked where we were from and when we told her, she said “you’ll be used to THIS cold weather then”! Afterwards we drove a little way into town and had supper at Red Rooster. Then we went to Coles supermarket to buy some food for breakfast/ picnics. Went for a swim in the heated pool at the holiday site. Really warm!
